Emory Summer Child Advocacy Program (ESCAP) Alumni Survey

2013 marks the twenty-first year of the Emory Summer Child Advocacy Program (ESCAP) administered by the Barton Child Law and Policy Center at Emory Law School. For the past 13 years, this program has been supported by a grant from the Children's Justice Act. Our 2013 ESCAP will include 15 graduate students from Emory Law School and from other masters-level disciplines, including public health and social work.

In celebration of this auspicious anniversary, we are seeking out past participants in ESCAP to hear how your experience in ESCAP has influenced your career. This information is tremendously important when we report to grantors or seek funding for expansion. Plus, we just like to hear from you! So, please take a few moments to answer the following questions. They're painless (and much easier than the Bar or licensing exam)!

If your name has changed since your participation, please include your maiden name or the name you used at the time of participation.

Our records indicate that you participated in ESCAP. Please confirm the year of participation. (YYYY)

Where did you work that summer? (example, Fulton County Juvenile Court)

c) Have you in the past or are you currently engaged in pro bono or volunteer work in the field of child advocacy? If yes, where and in what capacity?

2. If you answered "Yes" to either b) or c) above, would you be involved in this work if you had not participated in ESCAP?

3. Would you recommend ESCAP to a current student?

4. Did your participation in ESCAP impact career decisions you have made? If so, how?

Did your participation in ESCAP impact any other are of your life? If so, how?

6. If you are currently employed, please tell us where you are working now.

Please address any questions or comments to Alice Lee, aisabellalee@gmail.com, or 404.727.6664.

Also, we like to keep in contact with our ESCAP alumni, so if your contact information has changed (since you participated), please send your most current email, phone number, etc., to Michele Papotto, mpapott@emory.edu.
